You will assist the the Unit Director and the department, providing an array of administrative, research, support and logistics services. The HR/Recruiting Administrative Assistant is expected to model Crothall's values and performance expectations as a representative of the company. Service is to be rendered promptly, efficiently and courteously. Follow-up is to be immediate and thorough.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing all functions related to recruiting personnel to staff hourly positions. Must represent the company in a very professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, performance reviews, transfers, and termination date and reason.
- Process new hires, terminations, employee changes, transfers and general employee database maintenance in HRIS system
- Coordinate employee relocation activities.
- Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities.
- Coordinate and process reference checks and background investigations.
- Process New Hire offer letter/package and other candidate correspondence.
- Maintain complete, accurate and confidential personnel files.
- Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
- Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
- Compiles data from personnel records and prepares reports.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures
- Ability to use working knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectives
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION:
College degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 2+ years related work experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge HRIS System a very strong plus.
