Job Description:
Compass Group has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Senor Financial Analyst. Working within our Financial Planning group, this role supports the internal reporting processes for all sectors. This position reports to the Manager, Internal Reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, analyze and report monthly results of operations for internal management reporting for Compass Group North America (MAP)
- Collect, prepare, analyze and report monthly new and lost business results for Compass Group North America
- Collect, prepare, analyze and report specialized internal information as required (may include ad hocs for Executives or other Sr. Leadership)
- Collect, prepare, analyze and report monthly results for our international clients to Group
- Prepare roll forward schedules and variance worksheets to reconcile and support monthly reports
- Create and populate MAP templates to comply with Group requirements
- Assist in reviewing monthly sector commentary and preparing support to tie out Board reports
- Train and review work performed by Financial Analysts, as required. May supervise up to 1 Financial Analyst.
- Update Access databases as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting is required, MBA or CPA is preferred
- 4+ years of accounting/finance/reporting experience in a large organization
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a tight deadline driven environment
- Ability to work independently and possess strong problem solving skills and analytical skills
- Essbase, HFM, and SAP experience a plus
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access, with ability to manage large amounts of data and advanced financial models
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional image
- Supervisory or Project Lead experience helpful, but not required
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to effectively manage and extend influence across multiple layers of the organization
