Job Description:
Compass Group, the world’s leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a part of our internal recruiting team, Resource Network. .
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities associated with recruiting to fill open and upcoming food service vacancies and satisfy open position requirements. Establish effective relationships with both internal and external candidates. Provide sufficient customer service to internal customers through the use of effective recruitment tools to satisfy open position requirements and potential new business. Establish and/or maintain network with local colleges, agencies and organizations. Weekly reporting of recruitment activities. Conducting new hire Orientation and support for various human resource functions, as needed. Human Resource support can include new hire paperwork, benefit assistance, maintaining personnel files and monitoring compliance with federal, state, local, corporate policy and regulatory agency guidelines. Daily duties include utilizing online recruitment process to review candidates, pre-screen applicants, set up interviews with hiring managers, initiate offers, move candidates through all pre-employment criteria and follow up with candidates and hiring managers as needed. This position will require local travel within the hospital locations and minimal travel outside local area.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Self-sufficient work ethic.
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated.
- Have the experience to qualify candidates by interviewing and presenting candidates to hiring managers according to OFCCP laws.
- Ability to work with a closely integrated team.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, persuasive, competitive and out-going personality.
- Ability to write compelling employment ads
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can substitute for formal education.
- Five plus years recruiting experience required.
- Previous experience recruiting foodservice professionals.
- Prior experience working with a staffing agency or headhunting firm is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR and EEOC policies.
- Experience working with diversity initiatives.
- Excellent phone skills.
- Outstanding computer competence to include, Internet, MS Office Products, e-mail functions, "surfing the web", Adobe Reader and knowledgeable of web-based job boards.
