REGIONAL WELLNESS DIRECTOR/ALLERGEN MANAGEMENT
The Regional Wellness Director-Allergen Management is responsible for comprehensive management of the Compass Group Allergen Management Initiative. He/ she develops, supports, coordinates, measures and analyzes allergen management initiatives and manages and evaluates the provision of allergen management education, training and guidance for various accounts and Compass Group associates. The Regional Wellness Director-Allergen Management works collaboratively with clients, vice presidents, district managers, dining services directors, chefs, Sector: RDs and marketing managers to promote and support corporate allergen management goals, objectives, strategies and policies, to develop and provide allergen management resources and to insure compliance with FDA nutrition l & allergen labeling laws across Compass Group sectors.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian- Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND) Certification and State Licensure, where applicable
- Bachelors degree in food and nutrition or related field of study, Master of Science in Nutrition or a related field preferred
- Desired 7+ years professional experience
- Prefer candidates to live in Charlotte, NC
- Experience in allergen labeling (packaged foods or restaurant) strongly preferred
- Project Management experience strongly preferred
- Serve-Safe certification required, but we can train once hired
- Advanced written and oral communication skills; ability to apply complex mathematical concepts
- Strong presentation and time management skills; advanced computer skills, strong management and leadership skills, advanced problem solving skills and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with nutrition analysis software is preferred
- Culinary and/ or foodservice experience preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50%
