Summary:




Director of Procurement performs a wide range of functions to directly support order fulfillment and the overall unit operations. Focused on maximizing and enhancing the customer and sales experience across both pre-sales and post-sales activities. Act as liaison for purchasing and accounting to address questions, and/or directly assist in managing supply/demand requirements. This position assists with inventory tracking and control tasks post order processing, including returns.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Track and manage the F&B order and sales weekly forecast.

  • Responsible for processing orders from placement to delivery.

  • Process orders using purchase order documents.

  • keep in frequent contact with units manager and representatives on order status and problem resolutions.

  • Identify potential sources of supply and selects based on availability and lowest cost.

  • Recognize reorder points and maintains inventory levels.

  • Track financial success of all products as it relates to overall revenue and profitability.

  • Ensure all F&B orders and event timelines are met and customer satisfaction targets exceeded

  • Coordinate all F&B supply demand to meet the needs of the business, to include daily operations and special events as needed

  • Handle issues as they arise through proper protocol, management channels and escalation paths

  • Identify areas of need and implement plans for process improvement


Qualifications:



  • College Degree Preferred

  • 3-5 years supervisory/management experience in hospitality environment preferred

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of client management; tact in working with professional peers from other departments and all subordinates

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects, and the ability to handle last minute changes. Evaluates problems and makes recommendations to person(s) involved

  • Strong understanding of weekly, monthly and annual financial reporting

  • Strategic planning skills and a customer focused business approach
