Job Description:
Flik Lifestyles, a member of The Compass Group, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our Atlanta based team. The Financial Analyst will provide financial support to the operations leadership and regional teams to improve operational performance, efficiencies and drive financial results. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on financial results.
- Prepare and analyze forecasts and budgets.
- Convert vast amounts of data into insightful and actionable information.
- Extensive interaction with field operations teams, including training.
- Advanced use of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and database query tools.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for use by Senior Leadership Team.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
- Will require some travel to the division accounts and/or meetings
Qualifications:
- BS in Finance or Accounting is required. MBA, CPA or CMA is a plus.
- 2 to 3 years of related experience in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Food/restaurant industry experience is a plus.
- Must be flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to effectively manage and extend influence across multiple layers of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable presenting in front of groups and different levels of management (including senior leadership).
- MS Office and financial systems guru - requires a high level of proficiency in Excel and Access to effectively manage a vast amount of data and to develop advanced financial models.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to set goals and objectives, and timelines to efficiently meet tasks.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks/priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
- Unwavering commitment to highest quality work product in support of team’s mission to provide only accurate and actionable financial information in a timely manner.
