Job Description:


The Labor Program Manager is responsible for maximizing labor cost savings through improved productivity. This is achieved in collaboration with operators, Labor Analytics, Payroll, HR and Data Warehouse teams to identify labor metrics, efficiency opportunities and related system solutions.


The position will communicate regular updates to Sector: management and operators regarding: status of labor goals, future goals as determined by sector leadership, and system / process changes designed to improve labor productivity. The position will provide Labor Program training to operators through various forums such as CCCs, LMS, webinars and targeted training. In collaboration with sectors and/or Labor Czars, this position will liaise with the Labor Analytic team and the sectors to identify and address areas of the business with the greatest opportunity to improve labor productivity.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist sector Labor Czar in agreeing annual labor initiatives

  • Communicate status of labor initiatives to sector management and operators

  • Communicate future labor timelines as determined by sector leadership

  • Liaise with Labor Analytic team and operators to fulfill operator business needs for reporting, analytics and systems

  • Assist in the communication and achievement of goals

  • Assist operators in the implementation of labor productivity initiatives including system changes, process changes and policy changes

  • Assist in the implementation of labor productivity action planes

  • Provide Labor Program training to sector management and operators

  • Develop and execute communications plans that include program and product overviews, collateral, talking points, presentations, webinars and other communication deliverables.

Qualifications:



  • A Bachelor's degree is required; MBA preferred

  • 5+ years experience managing large, complex enterprise projects, particularly those involving a medium to significant degree of change across the organization

  • Strong presentation skills required

  • Strong professional presentation and interpersonal skills combined with good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills needed to manage multiple projects

  • Strong influencing skills—must be able to persuade people’s attitudes, behaviors and decisions to desired results

  • Ability to build effective long-term interpersonal relationships proactively across functions, working with others towards mutually acceptable solutions

  • Ability to travel approximately 20% annually
