Job Description: Financial Systems Analyst
Technical financial analyst position to support corporate and field users of JDE, SAP, HFM and Essbase at Compass One Healthcare, maintain chart of accounts and general ledger mappings, entity structures, accounts and custom dimensions as well as preparation of reporting templates for customer and service line reporting. In addition, performs monthly reconciliations ensuring accuracy of data loaded into reporting systems and liaisons with parent company financial systems associates. This position reports to the Director of Financial Reporting, Compass One Healthcare. The position will be based in either Wayne, PA or Atlanta, GA, based on successful candidate’s availability.
Responsibilities
Build, maintain and run financial reports in Essbase
- Management and ownership of customer and service line reporting for Compass One Healthcare for regular and ad hoc reporting requirements
- Assist with monthly close process
- Coordinate issue resolution with internal technical support providers
- Support corporate, field and remote users with SAP, JDE and Smart View
- Create reports in Smart View as needed
- Work with end users to develop and enhance the application process in a manner that will result in more efficient and effective reporting
- Identification and communication of resolution of issues
- Participate in the analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of current departmental processes and procedures and ultimately help to implement identified improvements
- Special projects and process improvements as determined necessary by management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field required
- CPA preferred
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion Essbase, HFM, Hyperion Shared Services
- SAP experience a plus
- 4+ years of combined accounting and/or reporting experience
- Advanced Excel and Access skills (Advanced Macros, Visual Basic coding)
- Strong financial systems background
- Detail Oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work with managers/department heads across multiple disciplines
- Ability to work independently and possess strong problem solving skills
- Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands on experience with process improvement methodologies
