Job Description:




The primary role is providing support to Accounting and Operations teams while providing top notch internal and external customer service.




Responsibilities:



  • Supervise two office associates

  • Generate invoices, process weekly A/R uploads into SAP

  • Track payments, call customers and provide statements as needed

  • Reconcile A/R accounts at the period end

  • Prepare weekly payroll, key into web-based system and prepare weekly payroll reports

  • Communicate with supervisors and employees regarding payroll issues

  • Submit documents for payment to vendors

  • Review vendor statements

  • Monitor invoices for timely payment

  • Audit cashroom weekly and review daily cashroom worksheets

  • Create and park standard and month-end journal entries

  • Reconcile intercompany G/L accounts and bank statements

  • Assist in the review of Balance Sheet line items as needed

  • Prepare other assigned reports

  • Other miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by the management team as needed




Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of related experience in a professional environment

  • Understanding of Financial Statements

  • 4 year Degree in Accounting or related area

  • Advanced level in MS Office Excel

  • Experience with SAP and other MS Office Applications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Excellent time management, ability to work directly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines

  • Flexibility, a positive attitude and a team player as well as a team leader

  • Must be a quick learner, self-motivated and detail oriented

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks independently
