Key Responsibilities


Lead deployment of WPC catering marketing initiatives that drive top line sales, customer and client satisfaction, brand penetration and maintain brand standards.



  • Collaborate in development of strategy and tactics for catering sales marketing plan nationally, regionally and by location.

  • Support onboarding and implementation of marketing automation platform.

  • Develop analytical tools to measure results of activities.

  • Collaborate with agencies to deliver on approved strategy and best practices for marketing initiatives including but not limited to promotional campaigns, social and traditional media, advertising, marketing materials and website/digital content.

  • Brand stewardship – maintain consistent image for corporate brand.

  • Evolve digital asset library

  • Source and curate content for all channels

  • Gather and analyze customer insight, adjust tactics to increase effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with sales to continually improve effectiveness and measurement of initiatives.

  • Identification and interpretation of key business trends and findings unique to the industry/service level.

  • Participate in budget development and support budget management.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with regional/unit directors and sales team.

  • Actively partner with internal clients (sales team) to create opportunities for growth.

  • Manage approved projects within scope and budget

  • Assist with coordination of sales events including attendance

  • Support and participate in sales meetings




Qualifications:



  • 4+ years sales-related marketing experience, hospitality industry preferred

  • Project management against deadlines and budget

  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges in a competitive marketplace

  • Proficient in MS Office, marketing automation experience a plus

  • Working knowledge of Creative Suite and print production process a plus

  • Development and implementation of marketing plans

  • Agency interaction, use and development of creative briefs

  • Multi-task in a deadline-driven team environment, adjust to changing priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter with outstanding team and leadership skills

  • Able to speak and negotiate effectively with all levels of associates, management and clients/vendors

  • Significant business acumen

  • Literacy of industry/technology trends (include social media and digital marketing)

  • Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Experience with CRM software

  • Ability to balance business priorities with best practices and implementation methodologies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/communications or related field

  • Attention to detail

  • Flexible schedule, some travel required
