Job Description
The Payroll / Human Resources Generalist will serve as the location's primary human resources contact in full service accounts. The incumbent will be involved in payroll administration, all employee record keeping, the exit process and other HR duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and organizes preparation of payrolls, personnel, information management, and other clerical services.
- Provides onsite human resource leadership.
- Drives compliance through appropriate record keeping of HR and payroll records.
- Assists in the recruiting of hourly associates.
- Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
- Reviews personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Must be willing to travel between two accounts within West/Northwest Houston
- A high level of proficiency using MS Excel
- Ability to multi-tasks and establish priorities
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership Ability to use working knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectives
- College degree or equivalent preferred. Must successfully complete department orientation and any pre/post employment testing.
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Prior experience in the areas of payroll/HR/recruiting required
