Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of specified campus, AV vendors within the campus, delivery of program goals and objectives, and customer satisfaction. Manages and leads a sub-set of associates on the AV Team – acts as an associate resource/educator. Responsible for day-to-day interdepartmental communication and ensures the customer event experience is of the highest caliber.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Technical Duties
- Oversee the management of daily operations for the conference center and general floor conference rooms
- Supervise, motivate and train staff. Set up communication process including daily meetings, team meetings, communication log, etc.
- Oversee AV staff, who deliver, set up and test portable equipment as requested
- Conduct weekly staff meetings with support staff and communicate client needs as outlined in the AV requests taken from the Help Desk
- Communicate requirements to staff for completion of AV requests.
- Attend all BEO, Pre-con and client meetings to ensure all AV needs are identified and addressed
- Coordinate with outside vendors to successfully execute large scale events
- Correspond with clients to plan events and coordinate the audiovisual requirements
- Maintain and track and AV equipment and supply inventories
- Create and manage operating budget
- Track SLA compliance including response time and customer satisfaction
- Support the Microsoft Mission and Compass objectives of customer service, operational excellence, teamwork, process improvement, and leading by example
- Coordinate with outside vendors all required repairs and maintenance that cannot be performed internally
- Ensure regular preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment
- Make suggestions for innovations, efficiencies and technology upgrades
- To develop and evolve metrics and reports including monthly and quarterly reports, business case analysis and scorecards
- Maintain Rhythm of Business meetings with clients and local stakeholders
- Monitor self-evaluations and surveys for customer satisfaction
- Identify continuous improvement processes for seamless customer service across all lines of business managed
- Act as the escalation point for problem and issue resolution
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Audiovisual Industry
- Membership & participation in professional organizations
- Must be knowledgeable in audio and presentation systems, as well as control systems
- Must be able to troubleshoot audiovisual systems and equipment
- Competent in networking skills and MS applications – Access, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Visio, FrontPage, Word, Internet and Outlook. Prior usage of Asset Management software a plus

Education and Experience: BA with emphasis on technology, or 5 years relative experience in technology and AV field systems.
